Timing & Registration Guidelines

How to get your Timing Instructions

  • Always wear your bib on front side of your abdomen or Chest. Bib should be visible at all times to the timing antenna/ mat without any obstruction.
  • Bib should be attached horizontally on your torso and it should never be on back, wearing it on back can lead to missing of your timings.
  • Do not fold and crumble your bib and timing chip and do not pierce the chip.
  • Do not separate or remove the chip and bib paper.
  • After crossing Finish line timing mat do not come near the timing mat again.
  • Please start your race as per scheduled start time, otherwise you will be disqualified and you won’t be able to see your timing on result page.
  • If you are not able to see your result on result page, please mark a query on the link given on same page for queries.
  • Please do not exchange your bibs with anyone else.

Money Deducted, Confirmation Not Received

Email address typo

  • Sometimes, there might be a typo in the entered email address. In such cases, you can reach out to us at service@townscript.com and we will get the same verified and corrected accordingly.

Payment Issue

  • If you receive a notification from the bank saying money has been deducted, but you haven't received any confirmation email or SMS related to your booking, don’t worry. Your money is safe in the banking system.
  • The transaction goes in pending when we don’t receive the final confirmation from your bank or payment gateway. These exceptions happen when banking payment gateways are facing some technical outages or load spikes.
  • In such cases, our systems continue to follow-up with the bank/gateway for the next 24-48 hrs. If within this time period, your transaction becomes successful then the tickets are generated and sent to your registered email. In case we don’t get confirmation for transaction success from your bank/gateway within this stipulated time, the transaction fails.

Refund Process

  • In case money was deducted from your account, your bank could take 7 working days to credit the refund to your account. Since this time is taken by your bank, we have a little capability in expediting it.
  • Hence, we suggest you to please wait for this duration. You may also contact your bank for any delays.
  • In case your problem is still not resolved, you can write to us at service@townscript.com.

SMS Not Received

  • Transactional SMS are sent on the phone numbers which are provided during the registration process. Same numbers are used for communication related to the event in the time period between the registration and the event.
  • In case you have not received SMS upon the booking, please reach out to us on service@townscript.com
  • The only other reason for not receiving the SMS is when your phone is not in serviceable area during the time when the SMS were sent from our side.

Confirmation E-mail

  • Upon successful booking, you get a confirmation email with all the details related to the event.
  • In case, you are not able to retrieve the same, you can go to MyBookings on Townscript website. It has the history of all the bookings made your email address. You can view and download the same from MyBookings.

Change of Category

  • If you want to change your registered category (say from 10 km to Half Marathon), please write to us at service@townscript.com and we will do the needful.
